I think I've been spoiled by watching all my YouTube & Netflix shows at 2x speed or 1.5x speed. I found myself wanting to speed up a lot of the supposedly emotional parts of the movie.
I wanted blood, war, and death, and it wasn't the video game movie I had an itch for.
In terms of thinking about how pointless World War I was, I think I've gotten that hammered out enough by listening to Dan Carlin's Hardcore History on this subject and the fact that I'm already convinced every single God, damn war has pretty much been unnecessary orchestrations for the benefit of the Elites.
Just don't fight in their damn wars and any emotional trauma that arises from it is from your dumb ass buying the propaganda. Honor. Courage. Duty. Medals. Lies.
I'm just shaking my head at the pointlessness of it all, and then the movie loses any sort of purpose.
I hate war and the unnecessary suffering it inflicts.
